- 주왕산국립공원 내·외 지역에서 발생하는 양서류 로드킬 특성 - 2017년 조사 결과를 바탕으로 - -
교통수단의 발달과 지속적인 도로의 건설은 인간 활 동을 확장시켰지만, 유발된 서식지 단절은 야생동물의 로드킬은 증가시키고 있다. 로드킬은 다양한 야생동물 의 지역 개체군 감소의 주요한 원인 중 하나로 지목되 고 있다. 본 연구에서는 경상북도 청송군에 위치한 주왕 산국립공원 내에서 발생하는 양서류 로드킬의 특성을 분석하였다. 현지 조사는 2017년 4월부터 10월까지 차 량으로 이동 가능한 주왕산국립공원 내·외 지점을 대상 으로 수행되었다. 조사결과, 총 322개체의 양서류가 로 드킬 되었으며, 그 중 78%가 봄철에 집중되었다. 무당 개구리는 전체 로드킬의 79.8%를 차지하고 있었다. 양 서류의 로드킬은 고도 201-400m 지점에서 집중적으로 발생했으며, 대부분의 로드킬이 발생한 도로의 주변은 산림환경이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 주왕산국립공원에 서 나타나는 양서류 로드킬의 일반적인 양상을 보여주 며, 더불어 로드킬에 취약한 양서류의 원인을 분석하였 다. 본 연구의 결과는 로드킬의 저감을 위한 방안 마련 에는 계절적 시기와 종, 환경 등 다양한 요소들이 고려 되어야 함을 시사한다.
Characteristics of Amphibian Roadkills from Inside and Outside the Juwangsan National Park - Based on the result of survey in 2017 -
Development of transportations and construction of roads have expanded human activity, while increased the roadkill of wild animals as a result of habitat fragmentation. Roadkill has been identified as a major cause of the decline of local populations of various animal species. In this study, we analyzed the characteristics of amphibian roadkill at Juwangsan National Park located in Cheongsong, South Korea. In order to analyze the characteristics of road-killed amphibians, we conduct field survey at Juwangsan National Park and its surrounding areas from April to October 2017. A total of 322 amphibian roadkills were recorded, and 78% of the roadkills occurred in spring. Bombina orientalis accounted for 79.8% of the total roadkills. The amphibian roadkills occurred intensively at the altitude between 201 to 400 m. The most of the roads where the roadkills occurred were located close to forest environments. The results of this study revealed the general aspects of amphibian roadkills at Juwangsan National Park and proposed some causal factors for the vulnerable amphibian species at roadkills. Overall, our results suggest that various factors such as seasonal time, species, and environments at roadkill sites should be considered to reduce amphibian roadkills.
